Pacific Orchid Exposition continues

Pacific Orchid Exposition - Photo by Richard Lindberg

The Pacific Orchid Exposition is the largest show west of the Mississippi. Sales are in full swing today and selection is good.

Some of the displays have fewer plants. This one featured Neofinetia falcata and related species. I don't recall that any of them were in bloom, yet everyone stopped to see it up close.

  1. The Japanese grow Neofinetia falcata for the various foliage forms, variegation forms, etc. The flowers are a minor part of what the Japanese enjoy about the plant.
