Orchid seed pods

I don't get seedpods on my orchids on purpose, but it happens every once in awhile. If one forms I cut it off and throw it away.

These two seedpods are on the plant that had this flower. I can't tell you more than that. It came to me with no tag.

I am not saving these seedpods. I don't know who the mother is (no tag), I don't know who the father is, I am too old to start a breeding program (it takes years and years), and I have both space and budget limits.

Now that we have all seen the pods and remarked on them, they will be cut off to focus the energy on plant growth.
