Dendrobium Stephen Batchelor - Flower photo by Richard LindbergDendrobium Stephen Batchelor - Plant photo by Richard LindbergDendrobium Stephen Batchelor is the cross Dendrobium alexandrae x Dendrobium johnsoniae. Both of these are from Papua and New Guinea blooming in fall and winter.

I got this at the going out of business sale at Petite Plaisance. I organized a group buy and that was fun but I wish I had bought more for myself.

I was pleasantly surprised when it bloomed in 2008. It was only a single flower but I was happy to get the flower photo.

I put it in bright light and hoped for the best and this year there are two spikes of wonderful, big flowers.
