Heating the greenhouse

My Napa greenhouse is heated by a Southern Burner located in the south-east corner of the greenhouse. As the nights get cooler I am paying more attention to the greenhouse temperature.

The minimum temperature when the heater is running was too high. It was 63 and last winter it was 59. The difference is the brand of fan.

I have had to replace one of the 18-inch fans that I have in the northeast and northwest corners of the greenhouse at the rate of about one a year. This summer I had to replace two of them and the brand I had been using was not available. The new ones have a less complex air movement pattern and I ended up aiming them fairly high.

While there is a little less general air movement, they seem to be doing a better job of mixing the warm air when the heater is on.
