Cattleya skinneri coerulencens 'Orchidglade' - Flower photo by Richard LindbergI don't actively seek trades but I am open to them. The trade where I got this Cattleya skinneri coerulencens 'Orchidglade' is one I remember well because I felt that my half of the trade was not a strong plant to say the least.

Cattleya skinneri grows from southern Mexico to Costa Rica on tree trunks and rocks. It is fragrant, cool to hot growing in very bright light. It blooms in winter and spring.

Laelia perrinii - Flower photo by Richard LindbergAn active collector of blue orchids saw a picture of one of my orchids as ask about a trade. This was back before I restricted fall and winter watering as much as I do now and I was getting a lot of root damage. Long story short, I sent him my Laelia perrinii. It was in very poor shape, a real rescue orchid. I have always felt bad about how that trade went.

  1. Lovely color. Shape is not great, however. I agree - good trade.
