This plant is a Big Box rescue. I have had it perhaps 5 years and have had trouble finding the right place and medium for it in the greenhouse. It has very fine roots and seems to not want to dry out. On the other hand, it rots pretty easily, even in pea gravel.
Colmanara is an inter-gereric mix of Miltonia x Odontoglossum x Oncidium. Since many of those species have changed genus, it is possible that this is no longer a Colmanara, but I don't really care.
The best so far is mounted. I have been trying to find the right amount of sphagnum that allows the plant to attach yet still holds enough moisture. It is blooming now but only ten flowers. I might just sell it off and forget it.
