The Sonoma Greenhouse is Filling Up

The Sonoma greenhouse was looking pretty empty six weeks ago, but now it is pretty full. At least the north and the center benches, the south bench still has some room. Lots of the plants spent the summer outside at both locations and they really liked it.

Some of the plants are ones that will winter outside next year but are a bit in early in a growth cycle. I want them to finish maturing inside. The low temperature in the greenhouse is 55f and watering is all manual. It is 12x25x15, quite a nice facility. I am lucky to have space there for my plants.

  1. It looks very nice. Custom, wood, attached to house?

  2. Yes, all three. It extends the roof line and looks like part of the house. The display window is a large exterior type window looking out from the house. All the in-bloom plants are gathered there and can be seen without going outside.

  3. This is exactly the kind of thing I want to eventually do. But I can't even find local contractors that know greenhouses. I wonder how the custom price will compare to kit.
