Colmanara Kilauea 'Pacific Candy Corn' - Flower photo by Richard LindbergThis Colmanara (Colm) (or whatever it is called now) is in bloom. It is a cute little plant and a easy bloomer. I got it originally second hand from Trader Joe and made this division in 2009. This plant is mounted on an 8x8-inch piece of cork bark and there are seven pseudobulbs.

  1. Forgive me for being so intrusive, but would you happen to have an extra of this particular Colmanara available for purchase?

I have been following your blog for about a year now, having been bit by the orchid bug about two years ago. I am particularly fond of Colmanaras and this one is ridiculously cute. I have googled about and cannot find it elsewhere, otherwise I would have never bothered you.

Thank you, especially for writing about your orchid experiences!

  3. The cultivar name is incredibly appropriate.
