Dendrobium Red Emperor 'Prince'

Dendrobium Red Emperor 'Prince' - Flower photo by Richard LindbergI have stayed away from nobile type Dendrobium hybrids. The few times I have tried them I failed to rebloom and eventually killed them by over watering. I got this one free so I will give it a try. I have better dry conditions in the greenhouse now and I can keep it outside until the end of October to give it a temperature drop.

My portable PVC and plywood photo studio in the corner of the kitchen

This is where I take most of my pictures. It is PVC with a thin plywood platform that I set up between the microwave and the sink. The back is 24 inches tall and works for most of the plants I have. I can set it up and take it down quickly. I am always testing the boundries of how many plants can be in the house and for how long.

I use available light and then color-correct later. I use Gimp for photo processing. The price is right and the program can do anything I need.
