This is the kind of rescue I like, one that doesn't need a rescue as much as a good home. This is from a friend who likes the flowers but doesn't want to keep the plants.
The plant is potted in sphagnum in a 3 1/2 plastic pot. There are three pseudobulbs and the plant stands four inches above the pot. I am going to cut the spike and repot in a smaller pot, adding peanuts under the new sphagnum.
Oncidium Twinkle is the primary hybrid Oncidium cheirophorum x Oncidium ornithorhynchum registered in 1958.
