Brassanthe Maikai

Brassanthe Maikai - Flower photo by Richard LindbergBrassanthe Maikai - Flower photo by Richard LindbergBrassanthe Maikai - Plant photo by Richard LindbergBrassanthe Maikai is Brassavola nodosa x Guarianthe bowringiana. It is also called by the old name, Bc Maikai. The cross was registered in 1944. It has remained popular because it is easy to grow and bloom and is a nice looking plant.

This plant is in bark over peanuts in a 3-inch plastic pot. There are five pseudobulbs and it stands ten inches above the pot. It is compact and can probably stay in its pot for at least two more years.
