I like Google+ limited sharing. I don't post anything in a public mode. If you would like to participate in a mini-forum with me and a few of my closest orchid friends, set up an "Orchids only" circle and add me to it. I will add you back and we can talk orchids.
I send to both my "Orchids" circles but I monitor the one that has people who only post to limited circles like I do (and as I imagine Google intended). This is the mini-forum circle.
Now I use Twitter only for posting notifications. I set up the account intending to do more than that. But found 140 characters limiting, considering some of the names of my orchids are almost that long.
http://www.backbulb.com has my collection inventory along with general backbulb propogation information. There are lots of flower pictures, too. If you want to use one of them in a blog or non-comercial use, go ahead but credit me. Please don't use them on eBay, I use them there.
Speaking of eBay, you can look for my eBay listings April through October. I don't sell a lot of plants, but I find that having three of the same plant is not three times as much fun so I sell the extras.
